Post from Horace. Visit to the Towner

Posted by Picasa(An interesting display of art work from local schools. This exhibition had finished, however the staff kindly allowed us to view the interesting way the work had been displayed-Tutor)
Today we went to Eastbourne to the Towner Art Gallery. we had a look around the art gallery. We visited The Dark Monarch exhibition, I liked the painting of three ladies.
We had a cup of tea in the cafe. We looked at The Towner collection and Children,s schools exhibition.
After we visited all of the Towner, I sat down and sketched a painting that I liked. I would like to visit the Towner Art gallery again. - Horace

Tutor Post. No College ......again

I think we have had enough of the white stuff! Un fortunately The Trip to the Art Gallery is cancelled today, hopefully we will be able to go the week after half term, I will inform you as soon as possible. If you want to stay in the warm, make a nice hot drink find a comfy chair , drawing paper and pencils. Sit down and draw a small section of the room you are sitting in, it would be great if you can bring in your drawings to the next class.
Keep warm, keep drawing and take care

Beardsly was a English illustrator and author. His drawings were of an erotic nature, and his most erotic illustrations are those found in the "Lysistrata, Beardsley drew theses for a private collection.

Beardsley was a typical English Eccentric of his time.
